Ciao Spritz
This is the picture of the much-loved Spritz. I'm hereby saying goodbye to it (for now): Thanks, dear Spritz, for all the lovely aperitivos you've shared with me! But I've had enough of you and am going back to my old love, the Bellini, now.

But how, I wonder, is a Spritz made? Just in case another sunny day comes along in good old GB and I am tempted to emulate all the lovely aperitivos big sis keeps talking about in her blog (because I already know how to make a Bellini)?

Molto semplice: It's basically just sparkling wine with a dash of Aperol. If you'd like to know more, it even has a Wikipedia entry:

Also very nice is the Rossini (like Bellini, just take strawberry instead of peach)
