Sydney
Unfortunately, I missed the connecting flight to Auckland because the Singapore-Sydney flight was delayed. Or rather, "re-timed" as they seemed to call it there. A very clever piece of rebranding - I feel much better being on a "re-timed" flight than a delayed one - as if a team of experts really thought about the timing of the flight, and then improved it after very careful consideration. The result is still the same, though, I'm sitting at the airport waiting... But at least I know it's daytime, and SUMMER (outside, inside it's the same airconditioned air as everywhere)!

Well it's good to read that you made it to Australia, hopefully you're in New Zealand by now. Enjoy the summer outside, I'll go and get some more wood for the fire place....
Hej Meike,
Well, it looks like the problems with flights are the same down under that in Europe. Did you really have to go all the way down there to find that out :-)
Just kidding - the word SUMMER is very nice to read and even if I'm not usually a jealous person, I feel a bit jealous here.
Take care and looking forward to read about your further adventures!
Hugs
Lena
